Pen-y-ghent stone workings - Horton in Ribblesdale

Stone workers' shelter on Pen-y-ghent Side. A SSE-facing shelter built within a natural rock cleft at 634m altitude with a roof of natural Millstone Grit slabs. Depth 1m, internal height 0.9m, internal width 0.5m at rear and 0.8m at front. Single stone seat at the rear end.
