Pen-y-ghent stone workings - Horton in Ribblesdale

An area of early stone workings on Pen-y-ghent Side at an altitude of 623m. It extends for over 200m along the contour with discrete delphs cut into the natural Millstone Grit cap of the hill. Centred on SD8391 7504.
