Hart Windmill

Description and History of Site:-
This early 19th century tower mill built of magnesian limestone retains some of its machinery. The mill was the last windmill to operate in Hartlepool, finally closing in 1915. The roof cap and fantail were restored in the mid 1980s by the Cleveland Buildings Preservation Trust, now the Teesside Heritage Trust. On private land.
