Pateley Bridge Mill

Description and History of Site:-
Large weir at SE 154 657. Remains of watercourses returning to river at bridge. Wheel was either on 'land' side of mill or in centre of it, not at the river end. Judging by the remains of one bay, was three storeys, stone. Square regularly spaced windows with flush stone surrounds. Quoins. Similar terrace of four millhouses alongside also three storeys. Building nearby probably granary dated 1910 now used as garages.
