Description and History of Site:-
Carrying Northern Outfall Sewer, 1864, across Lee Navigation. Four pipes of 8- or 9-ft diameter made of bolted segments about 3 ft long, supported by rivetted plate girders. Similar bridges at other points on sewer embankment across Stratford Marshes.
Bridge also carries the East London Greenway (cycle/foothpath)
