Opened 1866. Main line and high-level stations rebuilt 1894. Willesden Junction new station opened 1912 as part of LMJR electrification scheme and building 1907-15 of new line from Euston to Watford. Serves Midland Region main line - LMJR - (now electrified), the North London and Bakerloo passenger routes, the West London through line south, also passing point of reference for nearby GWR line into Paddington which was, under original 1835 plan (cancelled 1836) due to join the LMJR (then London & Birmingham) into Euston from west of Kensal Green Cemetery.
