Description and History

Fascinating collection of buildings some dating from c.1845 including vast outdoor fermenting vats and rectangular brewhouse. Established 1802 as Slee, Slee & Co. Amalgamated with Champions of Clerkenwell 1907, became part of British Vinegars 1932. The chimney was restored in 2000 as part of the conversion of this site into flats. January 2001
