Egginton Aqueduct

Description and History of Site:-
Aqueduct carrying the Trent and Mersey Grand Trunk Canal over the River Dove. Engineered by James Brindley in red brick with sandstone copings. Ten segmental arches.

The Trent and Mersey Grand Trunk Canal was completed and opened at about the same time.
