Burton in Lonsdale potteries

A Burton Ware earthenware forenoon bottle, dated to 1780-1820, found during archaeological excavations of a site near Ribblehead in 2017 broken into 23 pieces. This dark-brown lead-glaze with slip trailing is distinctive to Burton ware.
