Huddersfield goods warehouse hydraulic accumulator tower - Huddersfield

Cast iron plaque on building attached to the hydraulic accumulator tower. Water was piped from a reservoir at Marsden, further up the Colne Valley, and the stop valve mentioned would allow the use of Huddersfield's water supply instead of the railway company's supply in the event of this being unavailable.
