Wharf House - Sowerby Bridge

Calder & Hebble Navigation, Causey or Wharf House, Sowerby Bridge Wharf, erected 1779-80 for the Company's agent, Mr Thomas Walpole, with part of the premises set aside for a meeting room used by its committee; in consequence the building was finished to a high standard.
