Bank Maltings - Sowerby Bridge

Bank Maltings, Grange Place, Sowerby Bridge, originally formed part of Bank Brewery, and following its closure was turned over to malt production only. It appears to have been in operation by 1843 until around 1879, when it was occupied for warehousing. Later uses included that of a workshop and lodging house. The site is now cleared. Photo.
