Fountains Fell coal pits

A scale drawing of a sandstone slab on the summit plateau, at 675m AOD (SD 86561 71567). The initials represent Thomas Lister, Lord Ribblesdale, landowner at Gisburn Park; H.... Buck of Darnbrook Farm to the south-east of Fountains Fell; and B... X - unknown . It clearly demarcates where the three individuals' interests met but what those interests were is a mystery.
