Albert Springs Brewery - Halifax

Small 25 barrel brewery with its own malt kiln established in 1863 by Mr John Sykes following the dissolution of his partnership with Joseph Horner at the nearby Woodlands Brewery. The brewery was sold in late 1877 along with thirteen licensed houses which passed to Samuel Webster & Sons. It is not known to what use the brewery premises were subsequently put, but all has now been demolished and replaced by new houses. Photo. September 1979.
