Bailey Hall Railway Viaduct - Halifax

Erected 1848-50 by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company. Later changes to track configurations required alterations to the parapet at the south west corner above Berry Lane, involving the incorporation of re-used cast iron sections, thought to have originally formed part of an earlier cast iron bridge. View from Berry Lane showing cast iron insert, December 1996.
