Wool warehouse, 25 Square Road - Halifax

Numbers 27, 25 and 23 Square Road, former wool warehouses viewed from Halifax station goods yard. That on the left was designed by John Hogg, and erected for Messrs. Cooper and Crossley, woolstaplers in 1860/1 (now demolished); on the right, two warehouses of 1852 designed by Charles Child, one the premises of Messrs. W.H. Greenwood, wool and top makers, occupiers from c. 1887 until recent times. This building is now in mixed use occupancy. Photo. August 1980.
