Potts of Leeds - Leeds

A William Potts clock in the Grand Arcade, Leeds. Installed in 1898. Two copper bronze knights strike the quarter hours with their axes and as the hour is struck, five figures appear on a turntable, including a guardsman who salutes and a Scotsman in highland dress bows. As the figures pass back into the clock, a cockerel flaps it's wings and crows!
