Hewitt & Kellett - Bowling Boiler Works - Bradford

The Lancashire boiler at Bancroft Mill manufactured by Hewitt & Kellett around 1919 measuring 30 feet long and 9 feet diameter, one of the largest produced. It was fitted with automatic stokers in the 1960's, the two coal hoppers evident. The hoppers were fed by twin archimedes screws from the coal supply.
