Market Weighton Railway Station

Description and History of Site:-
G. T. Andrews for Hudgon. Single storey brick facade domestic scale with chimneys but splendid portico. Stately station master's house. Station opened in 1848, demolished 1979. A house on the east side of Londesborough Road a little north of the line of the track is probably the only remaining evidence of buildings contemporary with, and associated with the station.
