Pump House Gallery

Description and History of Site:-

60 ft high brick tower, built 1861, park laid out 1854. Electric motor, artesian well. Cast iron tank over, dated VR 1861, hidden in bank of shrubs in middle of park. Also small attached boiler house. The whole has been stripped and the buildings are now an art gallery and information centre. It is no longer hidden. It also has a short chimney integral with the building. It is next to the lake.
