Description and History of Site:-
Opened 22 June 1907 for the Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway (later Northern Line) - by Leslie W. Green - a striking building on a prominent in the acute angle between Adelaide Road and Chalk Farm Road - broad arched first floor windows and deep red external tiling (green tiling in ticket hall.) The passages and platforms retain some original tiling incorporating the station name.
