Gote Ghyll, High or Yeoman's Mill

Description and History of Site:-
An interesting reflection on the industrial past of Osmotherley at Cote Ghyll. The building, now a Youth Hostel, was Yeoman's Yarn Mill - part of the local linen industry. The mill closed in 1915. Renamed Cote Ghyll Mill in 2013 by the owners of the adjacent Caravan Park.

Shown as High Mill on the OS map of 1857
