British Railways Grain Warehouse

Description and History of Site:-
Large monumental brick building with innumerable small and large openings chutes etc. Designed by Thomas Prosser, architect for the North Eastern Railway. On the site of the original Marsh Lane Station which closed in 1863. (Hatcher 1973)

Destroyed by fire in the 1970s.
