Description and History of Site:-
Airport with 1,965m runway specialising in charter flights, servicing and hangarage.

Opened in 1938, owned and operated by Marshall Aerospace. Scheduled to be closed to all traffic by 2030 and redeveloped for housing and business premises.

Original terminal building now used as office. 'A rare and little altered example of an interwar airport control, club and terminal building.'
