Description and History of Site:-
There were several flour mills and grain warehouses hereabouts near railway interchange basin at King's Cross. Note former James Thorley & Sons cattle food mill; rebuilt c.l897, adapted to "Regent's Wharf" office development by architect Rock Townsend, 1991. 5-storey mill, alternate bays formerly blind, silo section formerly windowless red brick office to street. On E, facsimile rebuild of former 3-storey grain warehouse, part of Pembroke Wharf, later C19th:
