Description and History of Site:-
Octagonal red-brick water tower with battlement top for South West Suburban Water Co., c. 1895. Now flats opened by Ken Livingstone. 105 ft high, said to be inspired by Queen Victoria who wished to see more castle-shaped buildings on her way to Windsor.
Decommissioned in 1968, converted to flats in 1984.
