Description and History of Site:-
Scherzer-type bridge, 1930s, gave ships access to Shadwell New Basin and London Dock system. Now in decaying state. Water tank counterbalance. Adequate headroom clearance for double-decker bus.
Remains of similar bridge in Garnet St, 351805.
Bridge is clean cared for and painted, (2011).
