Description and History of Site:-
SELIA (1982): 'Built by the L.C.C. for electric trams in 1906, it was the largest tram depot in London (326 trams). London’s last tramcar ran into this depot in the early hours of 6 July 1952. It has now been converted into a bus garage.'
Destination of London's last tram in 1952 (see film Elephant Will Never Forget). (Well at least before Croydon's new system!)
