Description and History of Site:-
Above ground buildings of this former Piccadilly Line station closed in 1932 survive. Platform remains can be glimpsed by passengers. Designed by Leslie W. Green - opened 15 December 1906 by the Great Northern Piccadilly Brompton Railway (later London Underground Piccadilly Line) - closed 19 September 1932. The maroon glazed terracotta exterior has survived almost intact, complete with large white lettering for the station name [1].
