A housing block built by the Improved Industrial Dwellings Co. This was the company's second major project, the first being Langbourne Buildings, Finsbury.
A large plaque on the building reads: 'Tower Buildings erected by the Improved Industrial Dwellings Company (Limited) 1864'.
