Description and History of Site:-
41.4 metre high hot water storage accumulator tower, workshop and pump house built for the Pimlico District Heating Undertaking in 1950 on the site of Belgrave Dock.
Originally received waste heat from Battersea Power Station through a service tunnel under the Thames and later supplied by a boiler adjacent to the former Power Station. Now integrated with a combined heat and power plant built in the remaining part of Belgrave Dock.
