Description and History of Site:-
Skew road bridge carrying the A213 over the railway lines (five tracks) from London Bridge to Croydon - probably originally built for the opening of the London & Croydon Railway in 1839 - certainly shown on W. Roberts' 1847 map of Croydon - certainly widened to span additional lines and probably largely or entirely rebuilt.
