Description and History of Site:-
Cast-iron clock tower in honour of local industrialist William Stanley whose factory (qv) and philanthropic buildings (qv) were nearby.

Provided by the local community in honour of Stanley and his wife Eliza for their golden wedding anniversary in 1907.

Inscription on north side reads 'Erected by the inhabitants of South Norwood to commemorate the Golden Wedding of Mr & Mrs W F Stanley, of Cumberlow, South Norwood, February 22nd 1907'.
