Description and History of Site:-
SELIA (1982): 'The Electric Palace opened in 1909 with seating for 350 and closed in 1925. This building is reputed to have been purpose-built but a 1906 picture shows the same building in use by a horse dealer. It is distinguished by its archway and is now used as a car bodywork treatment centre.'
