Description and History of Site:-
The old toll-house, now a private house, was built in 1872.

Replaced by the present PLA toll house in the 1920s or 30s.

Nearby are some rows of two-storey terraced artisans' cottages of the 1870s/80s; also Old Dock Close built on the filled-in dock which served the Kew Parish Wharf.
