Description and History of Site:-
Conglomeration of older buildings along river. In brick and pantile.
Previously known as 'Derwent Brewery', which itself was founded in 1771 on a site somewhat to the west of the later development and expansion. The buildings which still stood in the 1970's probably dated from 1897.
