Description and History of Site:-
In dark grey stone large pieces of stone. Four storeys. Slightly projecting 'collar'. Square windows under monolithic lintels. Slightly arched lintels. Windows alternating.
The windmill was built in 1858 originally known as Peak Mill (and also referred to as Ravenscar Mill). By 1902 the mill was in poor condition and the two remaining sails blew down in high winds. The mill was then closed and the machinery sold. The mill was left derelict for many years but in 2013 it was converted into a holiday let.
