Description and History of Site:-
Brick, five storeyed. Angle emphasised by a tower with battlements and a higher stair turret. Architect W. G. Penty.
Built 1896, presumably as a steam roller mill. The warehouse was taken over by Rowntree & Co in c1931 and became known locally as Rowntrees Wharf. It was converted to flats in 1988.
