Description and History of Site:-
18-19th century octagonal timber-framed and weatherboarded smock mill.

It is said that at one time fourteen working mills (some in Cambridgeshire) could be seen at once from this mill.

Alderton (1980): 'Small smock mill, tarred, with brick one-storey base and horizontally weatherboarded smock. Probably built 1807, later fitted with patent sails and fan. Pointed cap. Restored 1962 and 1974 but requires further attention.'
