Curwen Print Study Centre

Description and History of Site:-
The Curwen Print Study Centre was established as an educational fine art printmaking charity in the late 1990s.

It opened a new purpose-built studio in Great Thurlow on 4 March 2022 which houses the centre's collection of historic printing presses.

Presses include a Columbian Eagle press from 1837 and subsequent Albion models dating from the 1860s. Also two Rochat Etching presses, two direct Lithography presses, a manual offset litho press, plus portable presses.
