Description and History of Site:-
Gough's Maltings on Thingoe Hill was the last floor maltings in the county.

Following closure the site was cleared for housing redevelopment in 1994/95.

Remembered in street names, Maltings Way, Malthouse Walk. Only two of the maltings cottages survive.
