Description and History of Site:-
No 52 has well preserved Victorian shopfront with particularly intricate carving on the supporting brackets.

No 53 was a shop but is now a residential property.

No 54 was the Suffolk and Essex Free Press building, as announced by the lettering in the gable. Designed by T F Ray of Sudbury in 1867.
