Brunton's ladles

Description and History of Site:-
The 'ladles' (retort vessels) which are on display here at the east end of St Peter's Church were once used in Brunton's Sudbury factory (qv) for pouring the molten metal from the furnace into the mould for the propeller.

The factory closed in 1995.
