Description and History of Site:-
Former cotton mill, later timber mill.
The chimney (dated 1839) unusually features three carved stone heads. The most prominent, a bowler-hatted head, was probably created by fellow workmen in memory of one of their colleagues who lost his life during the mill’s construction.
Now Worth Valley Antiques Centre.
