Construction of the malthouse at Seedlings Mount was overseen by local architect Joseph Frederick Walsh, having been commissioned in 1892 to the designs of Richard Hardy of Nottingham; an adjoining warehouse was also erected utilising Walsh's own designs. Acquired by Whitbread's Brewery Co. in 1968, the building survived until the demolition of the Seedlings Mount Brewery in late 1972. Photo. Dec
